Narrow sliding shoji doors are joined together in pairs, to move as one larger door.
When viewed from outside, the shoji pairs are in alignment with the exterior
glass doors leading to this elegant entry.
The intricate fretwork creates a sense of privacy as well as drama
as you enter this room. The shoji were stained to match the wall paneling;
a subtle, yet effective way to accentuate the wall color without overpowering the room.
