Laminated Glass Glass doesn't have to be boring! Check out our laminated glass with rice papers for an old world look combined with the practicality of safety laminated glass. At last you can enjoy the beauty of hand-made rice papers without the risk of tearing, damage, or staining. Sandwiched between 2 layers of glass, the details of these beautiful papers are carefully protected creating an exquisite, maintenance- free shoji. Sheer Inserts Most of our shoji inserts are translucent - they allow light through, but you can't see through them. But when privacy is not an issue and you prefer to see the view outside, consider one of our sheer inserts. Handwoven grasses and reeds offer a more traditional look and feel; or go contemporary with the latest recycled fiber fabrics. Clear rigid lenses are also available with random filaments throughout for a more commercial look and feel.
