"The shoji were the perfect solution for these windows and the color is just what we wanted. Thanks again! "

Bow Top Shoji

INTERIOR DESIGN Rhonda Luongo, A.S.I.D.

Often times windows with strong architectural lines can be difficult to cover. These Bow Top windows were already surrounded by this wonderful mahogany millwork. To give the client move privacy, shoji were designed to fit over the windows, with the same top arch. With a matching finish used, these shoji look like they were always intended to be part of this window unit. There is just enough room for them to fold open flat on the center wall, and panels fit flush with the existing trim.

The simple grid design does not compete with the bow top shape, allowing the windows’ unusual shape to take center stage as the architect originally intended.
