Half-Wall Shoji

ARCHITECT Douglas Anawalt

These sliding doors enclose the opening above a half-wall to form an upstairs room when needed.

Our medium brown finish blends with the cedar and redwood casework throughout. A sill track was used to stabilize the shoji at the bottom so they could not be pushed out if accidentally leaned against.

The intricate gridwork designed by the architect make the shoji an artistic focal point in this peaceful setting.
